Welcome to KwikEat
What KwikEat Desktop, KwikEat Merchant and the Print Connector are, and which ones you need.
KwikEat is made for take-away and delivery restaurants: pizzerias, snack bars, chip shops, Chinese and Indian take-aways, sushi bars. There are three parts. You don't need all of them.
| What it is | Who needs it | |
|---|---|---|
| KwikEat Desktop | The till and order system on the PC in the shop: taking orders at the counter and on the phone, the order board, printing receipts, End of day. Also works without internet. | Every shop that takes orders at the counter and on the phone |
| KwikEat Merchant | The web portal for your online orders (merchant.kwikeat.com): your web shop, the menu, the settings and who works there | Anyone who wants to receive online orders |
| KwikEat Print Connector | A small program that prints the online orders of KwikEat Merchant on a printer in the shop | Only for KwikEat Merchant without KwikEat Desktop |
Using KwikEat Desktop and a web shop? Link them: online orders then simply arrive on the Desktop order board, and Desktop prints them. You don't need the Print Connector then. See Linking Desktop to the web shop.
Moving from AnyOrder
KwikEat Desktop is the successor of AnyOrder. You bring your menu, customers and couriers along in one go: see Installing and first start.
How this manual works
- The contents are on the left, with a search box at the top. Just search for a word: deal, postcode, cash, kitchen ticket.
- The menu has a chapter of its own, with lots of examples: Building your menu.
- Keys look like this:
F2. KwikEat Desktop works fully with the keyboard, and with touch too.
